Deep fakes are fake videos of a person (often a celebrity or famous person) doing or saying things that they never actually did. They are made by special software that can use real photos/videos of a person to put them into a video of another person.
Sometimes you can spot a deep fake video, but some videos have been created so carefully that you can’t tell it is fake!
